Dorcas Domestic Science School
Training girl orphans in tailoring, home management, and crafts.
Some of the girls carry food from a distance of about 27km every
weekend and come from very poor and HIV/AIDS affected home. For a gift
of $30 monthly you can sponsor 2 girls into a future with Skills.
You can donate sewing machines, tailoring accessories, pieces of
materials and support the training for a gift of $100 monthly you can
keep the Instructors on course.
Heifer Program
For a gift of $330 you can donate an in-calf heifer to an HIV/AIDS
affected family and provide much needed nutrition and income
generation.
Small Grant
Support the HIV/AIDS infected woman by donating Small grants of
$100 this help her start up a side income to support her and the
family.
Low cost House Program
Four low cost houses have already been constructed to Families
that have no houses through the Rotary Club in Kampala. You can help a
family acquire a good permanent house for a cost of $1500.

Costs in Uganda are very small in
comparison to costs in the USA or UK. A small contribution goes a long
way.
SEND A LOVE PARCEL PROGRAM
Christmas is a season of Joy and sharing to many
people. Most of the people in Africa receive gifts in this season of
the year and the house lords are planning for Christmas for those in
their hose hold.
For many families that have been affected and
infected by HIV/AIDS, Christmas is a season of sadness because it
brings the memories of how their loved ones cared and provided in such
a season. Sending a love parcel to these families will bring a smile
on their faces and bring them the true joy of Christmas.
Our budget is reaching 600 families, which are
currently under the Bringing Hope to the Family Project. Join us in
this cause of putting a smile the face of an orphans/widows for only
12000 UGSHS or $6
A Love Parcel contains;
2kg of Sugar, 2bars of Soap, 3sachet of Salt, I
family size Loaf of Bread, Blue Band, 1Litre Cooking oil, I packet of
Sweets and a Christmas card!
