Dorcas Vocational Institute.
This caters for vulnerable children who are through with the primary education but cannot afford to proceed with higher education.
These who can not go ahead with formal education are passed over to the institute. And on completion of their studies, they are released into the community well equipped with starter kits while others are employed by Bringing Hope to The Family.
The course offered are numerous including Tailoring, carpentry, crafts, Nursery Teaching, Hair dressing, catering and home Management, Agriculture, mechanics, and metal work, Metal fabrication, bee keeping, tree planting and many more.
All the courses take a period of two years and at the end of the course, some students are retained, while others are released back into the community. Those who are retained are employed in the various work shops run by Bringing hope to the family. For instance some are employed in tailoring workshop others in the carpentry section while others in the crafts shop.
Those who are released are given tools that they need to start up income earning activities. For instance Sowing machines, carpentry tools

Bringing Hope To The Family is committed to helping improve the quality of lives of orphans and vulnerable children in Kyenjojo District. Over the last 9 years of operation we have helped to restore hope to children whose lives have been shattered by HIV/AIDS, poverty and unemployment through education,free health care, food, shelter and life skills to help them become self reliant.
We have also helped a number of HIV victims in kyenjojo with free VCT services, Free ARVs and family sponsorship programmes aimed at empowering these families to become self reliant.
